Clarity. Accountability.
Students First.

I am running for the Torrance Unified School District Board of Education because I believe our schools deserve leadership that is clear, accountable, and focused on what matters most — our students.
As a PTA President at Towers Elementary, a representative on the Superintendent's Advisory Council, and a member of the School Site Council, I have been deeply involved in understanding how decisions at the district level impact students, teachers, and families.
Every decision I make as a Trustee will be guided by these five commitments to our students, teachers, and community.
Clear, parent-friendly budgets with spending tied directly to student outcomes. No confusion about where resources go.
Every decision should answer one question: does this help students succeed? That lens guides every vote.
Reduce unnecessary burdens. Focus resources where they matter most — inside the classroom, with our educators.
Strengthen partnerships between families, schools, and the district to support every single student.
We don't need more ideas — we need better execution. I bring structure, clarity, and follow-through.
"If we can't clearly explain where the money is going, we shouldn't be spending it."— Cat Bones, TUSD Board of Education Trustee Applicant
As PTA President, I'm not just attending meetings — I'm in the hallways, at the book fairs, and on the playground. I keep parents informed at every step: how donations are raised, where every dollar goes, and how they can get more involved. Transparency and community are the foundation of everything I do.

Every meeting, I present a clear breakdown of how every donation dollar flows directly back to students — from classroom supplies to field trips to enrichment programs. Transparency builds trust, and trust builds community.

Dressing up as the Cat in the Hat to celebrate reading with students at Towers Elementary — because a love of books starts early.

Helping run the school book fair — connecting kids with books and raising funds for our classroom libraries.

Bringing holiday magic to morning drop-off. School spirit and community joy are what make Towers Elementary special.

As a PTA President at Towers Elementary, a representative on the Superintendent's Advisory Council, and a member of the School Site Council, I have been deeply involved in understanding how decisions at the district level impact students, teachers, and families. These experiences have given me a strong foundation in how instructional priorities, funding decisions, and accountability measures work together to support student success.
In my professional career, I am a finance and operations leader who specializes in building systems, improving transparency, and helping organizations make informed, strategic decisions. I bring that same approach to education — ensuring that resources are used effectively, decisions are clearly communicated, and outcomes are aligned with student needs.
I believe the most important responsibilities of a Trustee are to act with integrity, collaborate effectively, and remain grounded in student-centered decision-making. I am committed to supporting our teachers and staff, strengthening school communities, and ensuring that families feel informed and engaged.
Torrance has an incredibly strong school district. My goal is to build on that foundation by bringing clarity, accountability, and thoughtful leadership to every decision we make.

Our family is part of this community. These schools matter to us personally — not just as a candidate, but as a parent.

Together we can build a school district that is clear, accountable, and focused on what matters most — our students. Join me in making Torrance schools even stronger.
